Captive Wildlife Permit Vendors must obtain a Class III permit in order to sell animals in the state of Florida. A business must be registered through the state of Florida Divisions of Corporations for a permit to be issued under a business account. Click on each of the items below to register with the state, create a customer account, apply for a permit, claim the permit and print the permit. 1. Click here to go to the Florida Divisions of Corporations website to register your business. 2. Click here for instructions on the Captive Wildlife Online Application process. 3. Click here to go to the Gooutdoorsflorida website to create a new customer account, apply for a permit, claim the permit and print the permit. You need to make a COPY of the printed Class III permit and bring it along with your animal inventory to registration at the show. The printed Class III permit COPY will be collected for Fish and Wildlife at the show. They will not accept a copy of your license on your cellphone!! Non-Native Wildlife Importation Permit Florida law requires that any nonnative species imported into Florida must be authorized by FWC prior to entering the state. If you are bringing any nonnative wildlife to the show, you must obtain and get approved a Wildlife Import Permit prior to the show. Click here to go to the state website that explains the Wildlife Import Permit process. There are two kinds of import permits: a one-time use permit (45 days) and a one-year use permit. The one-time use permit is free. However, to avoid questions whether all of your animals are covered on a one-time use permit we recommend you obtain a Class III permit and a one-year use import permit. The one-year use import permit is free to all Class III permit holders. The cost of the Class III License is $50. You should apply for your Class III permit and your one-year use import permit as soon as possible to allow time for approval.
